Do you really think the vacation means yellow sand, blue sea, hot sun and cold drinks? If yes, you're dreadfully mistaken.
Sometimes the vacation in the city can be rather pleasant.
Sometimes the vacation means you're just not going to the office, but!.. please don't forget you're living the era of mobile communication. My daily record: 11 calls from/to the office.
Sometimes the vacation is not exactly yours, but your wife's. So you have all the pleasure to discover the details of her daily occupations when I am at work. Well... when two of the main occupations are 3,5 and 8 years old, the discovery is exciting, but... tiring.
Sometimes the vacation means the time of keeping yours promises (normally postponed to "later on"). Visiting the zoo is not the worst comparing to the furniture rearrangement for example.
And sometimes you're almost not sure to regret the end of your vacation or to enjoy it ;-)
